75ft x 21ft Barge

Built in the late twenties as a Lighter for Rank Hovis Flour Mills at Hull and previously was owned by the Waterways Museum at Goole as an Exhibition Barge/Art Gallery, was purchased by the present owners in 2016 who now live aboard her but are reluctantly now selling due to work commitments. She has wheelchair access via a lift which was serviced every six months, when she was at the Museum but if going to be used again would need a service. Down steps from deck into foyer - to the left is the toilet and wash hand basin, another room which houses the kitchen, then forward into the large open plan living area, and forward again into the Master Bedroom. Forward, through water tight door is a storeroom. She has large skylights giving plenty of light. Oil central heating with radiators throughout the boat. With the size of the living area, especially with the good beam she has you could always divide it off to create more rooms, or extend the bathroom into the kitchen, giving more space for a bath and/or a shower and make the large living area into a kitchen/diner/lounge. This one really you do have to see as she has so much porential. She had a survey April 2016, copy and receipts available, and had over £10,000 spent on her hull so she should be a very sound vessel. No engine. All the hard work has been done!!!! Laying Hull. £67,500
